All cross-country fans can enjoy an extensive track network in the Dachstein West region. Nearly 223 km of tracks leave no wish unfulfilled. In Gosau alone there are approx. 35 km of trails which can be accessed for free. These are divided into 12 km of intermediate and 21 km of easy trails.
With its nearly 13.1 km, the "Dorfloipe" in Gosau is the longest in the region and offers both good beginners and intermediate skiers ample variety. Further cross-country ski tracks can be found in neighbouring resorts e.g. Abtenau and St. Martin, which can be reached with the free ski bus. The floodlight tracks in both resorts can both be used for free.
