Ski area Grand Massif

The Grand Massif connects five ski resorts and makes it one of the largest ski areas in France. 265 kilometres of piste at altitudes between 697 and 2,480 m fulfill all wishes. The higher slopes at the Lac de Gers, the Grandes Platières and the Tête Pelouse are preferred especially by advanced skiers. But also beginners can explore the area on easier, blue pistes.

A particular treat is the 14 km long run from Flaine down to Sixt Fer à Cheval, which has a view of Mont Blanc as well as the nature reserve close by. With a bit of luck, you might spot ice climbers, that test their abilities on the frozen waterfalls. The 3.1 km long Diamant Noir with an altitude difference of 890 m is a challenge. Furthermore, three jam parks, which are groomed daily by a professional team, offer free skiers and snowboarders a broad scope.

Après ski Flaine

Along with its great ski area, the resort of Flaine also impresses with its lively apres ski. Numerous discos and bars invite you in to party when you're done having fun on the pistes. The "Chalet Bissac", "La Cascade", as well as the "Flying Dutchman" bar are just some of the places you should visit. A rich display of culture belongs to everyday life in Flaine, which is shown not only by the many concerts, but also Picasso and Vasarely's sculptures in the centre of town.

Anyone looking for something active to do off-piste can try the go-kart ice rink, ice skating, dog-sledding, or even ice-climbing. More peaceful activities include a visit to the indoor pool or the fitness centre with a spa area. Flaine also offers food lovers many restaurants which specialise in local and traditional cuisine.

Snowpark: Ho5Park Snowpark Flaine

In the ski area Grand Massif the Ho5Park awaits all freestylers with an excellent variety of obstacles. In Flaine, located in the Aujon area, you can find the Jampark. The line with kickers, boxes and hoops is suitable for beginners. The expert line has more challenging obstacles and is perfect for more experienced freestylers. There also is a boardercross slope, a quarter pipe and - as every good park shoule have - a chill zone with an amazing sound system.

Families, friends, and all fun seekers should visit the "Acticross" parcour, which can be easily reached via the Petit Balacha lift. 2 supervisors will be available to help you improve your skills and to master the whoops, the slalom, or the super tunnel, while enjoying yourself immensely. At the Grand Massif there are more possibilities for all freestylers (beginner to pro) to run riot.
