Ski area Spitzingsee-Tegernsee

The "Alpen Plus" lift pass gives you access to a total of around 79 kilometres of pistes and 34 lifts. The kilometres of pistes are spread over 4 ski areas: Brauneck-Wegscheid, Wallberg, Spitzingsee-Tegernsee and Sudelfeld.

The "Spitzingsee-Tegernsee" ski area offers you winter fun on a total of 14 kilometres of pistes and predominantly easy to intermediate slopes. The main area around Stümpfling and Rosskopf is becoming increasingly popular with families and beginners in particular, but experts will also find a special kind of challenge on the east run via the Grünseealm or on the unprepared, former FIS run on the Wallberg. Freestylers can let off steam in the funpark.

With the "Alpen Plus Holiday Card" lift pass upgrade, you can also use the Wendelstein and Oberaudorf-Hocheck ski areas. There are a further 19 kilometres of varied pistes to discover here. The Oberaudorf-Hocheck ski area is ideal for families, while the challenging Wendelstein is particularly suitable for experts.

Night skiing Schliersee

A very special highlight: if there is enough snow, the Spitzingsee-Tegernsee ski area organises night skiing on Thursdays and Fridays. Skiers who haven't used up all their energy during the day can ski down the "Stümpflingabfahrt" piste by floodlight from 18:30 to 21:30 and enjoy the glistening snow in the dark. The piste is regularly groomed and is therefore - together with the associated 4-seater chairlift - ideal for night skiing. The Jagahütt'n on the Stümpfling and the base camp at the valley station provide refreshments

Après ski Schliersee

Skiers looking for classic après-ski will definitely find what they are looking for in the Spitzingsee-Tegernsee ski area. They can not only enjoy cool drinks and music on the sun terraces of the mountain huts at the edge of the piste. The "Basislager" umbrella bar awaits you at the valley station of the Stümpflingbahn cable car and "s Hosendial" at the Suttenbahn cable car, where you can round off a long day of skiing with mulled wine, Jagertee and a snack.

In addition to the classic restaurants, Tegernsee is of course also home to the world-famous brewery, where the original Tegernsee beer is served in the classic beer mug. And because tradition and culture are very important here, it is always worth visiting the exhibitions at the Olaf Gulbransson Museum and the Tegernsee Valley Museum.

For those looking for action in the open air after or instead of a day of skiing, the Spitzingsee-Tegernsee ski area will not disappoint either. One of the most challenging natural toboggan runs in Germany with a length of 6.5 km awaits on the Wallberg (1,722 m). There are three toboggan runs to discover above the village of Schliersee. Curling, romantic carriage rides, ice skating and ski tours are also possible in winter. There are eight routes for ski tourers. The moderate to challenging routes are between 3 and 9 kilometres long and lead along marked trails through the wild and romantic terrain to Seekarkreuz, Brecherspitze or Grubereck.

After such eventful days, relaxation is of course the order of the day, which you can enjoy in the many first-class wellness facilities of the accommodation establishments or in the Bad Wiessee iodine-sulphur bath, where the healing effects of Germany's strongest iodine-sulphur springs have been beneficial to body and soul for over 100 years.

Snowpark: Funslope Schliersee

Depending on the snow conditions, there is a funslope in the Spitzingsee-Tegernsee ski area. This is located on the east and north slope lift of the Untere Firstalm and offers an attractive set-up consisting of small kickers, boxes and a wave run. The new funslope replaces the previous snowpark and is also suitable for less experienced freestylers.
