On the high altitude plateau Alpe Cimbra various family-friendly areas stretch across a number of crests around the resorts Lavarone, Golaria and Luserna.

The area offers primarily intermediate pistes, but there's something to be found for beginners and pros as well. The Cima Sommo Alto - Costa (Emozioni) is 2.5 km long and the piste crossing the highest altitude difference, 400 m, and is perfect for beginners. Around 15 km away, in Bertoldi, access to the ski area Lavarone with approx. 30 km of piste can be found. Further lifts up to the highest point of the ski area in Lavarone, Virgo Maria at 1,700 m altitude, can be found on the neighbouring mountain Ust and by the pretty mountain lake Malga Laghetto. Here, the 2 km long black piste "Avez del Prinzipe" awaits as one of the most beautiful pistes in the Trentino. It was named after the 300-year-old and 60 m high silver fir, which rises into the sky near the piste. The offspring is welcomed in "Neveland" and in order to recharge the batteries, the rustic wooden huts at the side of the piste invite for a break.
