Ski holidays San Martino di Castrozza - Holidays surrounded by the most beautiful peaks in the Dolomites!
San Martino di Castrozza
The pretty little place San Martino di Castrozza lies at an altitude of 1,467 m and is often referred to as the most wonderful natural amphitheatre in the Dolomites. Surrounded by the Cimone della Pala (3,184 m), also called the "Matterhorn of the Dolomites", and the steep rising hights of the mighty Rosetta (2,743 m), San Martino di Castrozza offers real Italian atmosphere with its great food, shopping, strolling and night life possibilities. The townscape features nostalgic palace-hotels as well as restaurants, bars and shops. In the evenings the through road is converted into a boulevard with several shops and boutiques. On a snow shoe hike through the woods of the nature reserved Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino, beautiful landscapes can be enjoyed.
Pala Group
During the day the peaks of the Valle di Primiero are already impressive, but when the rock walls of the Pala Group light up in bright red colours for sunset, you receive an unforgettable panorama.Next to a fantastic ski area which includes gentle beginner's slopes as well as challenging black pistes, this destination attracts its guests with entertaining après ski, a great spa offer as well as the hearty Trentino cuisine. A ride to the 2,600 m high Rosetta peak is also recommendable: here on the high plateau, a unique moon landscape in the middle of the mountain peaks will take your breath away.
