Ski area Plan de Corones

With the "Plan de Corones“ lift pass, you'll have access to plenty of skiing fun around the Plan de Corones (2,275 m), Southern Tyrol's No. 1 skiing mountain. From December to April, the ski area is considered snow sure, with plenty of snow cannons making sure to keep it that way. The 121 km of piste and 31 modern lifts between 973 and 2,275 m altitude help you to have an unforgettable experience, whether beginner, expert, or somewhere in between.

With the "Piculin" gondola, you can head up from the Pikolein district straight into the ski area. Thanks to this lift connection, Plan de Corones is connected to both the Alta Badia ski area in the south as well as the popular Sellarunde. A shuttle bus runs here as well.

Plan de Corones as a whole counts as a family-friendly ski area with plenty of offers for children. Families and beginners should be sure to check out the Korer cable car with its 8-person gondola. Here, you'll find a 100 m wide piste with a difference of 160 m in altitude. At the peak of Plan de Corones, the "Croniworld" offers a place for parents to watch their children's progress while enjoying a gorgeous 360° panoramic view.

Experienced winter sports fans can test their skills on the steep paths of the two valley runs, "Sylvester" and "Herrnegg". For night owls, four illuminated pistes are also available to enjoy. Snowboarders can also let off steam on the halfpipe. Hardly any other ski areas presents itself as so diverse as Plan de Corones. The area is also known for hosting various sporting events such as the Snowboard World Cup.

In order to guarantee the perfect skiing experience, the ski area is regularly upgraded: the popular Sonnenlift was replaced, completely renewed and many new features like heated seats and protective covers were added. The Miara cabins now have free Wi-Fi and the artificial snow-making facilities were improved. In the 19/20 season, the non-detachable Rara chairlift was replaced by the modern "Skitrans Bronta". Since its construction, it has held the title of the shortest 12-seater gondola lift in the world and connects the valley stations of the "Miara" and "Pedagá" gondolas.

For an even larger selection of pistes, you can book the "Dolomiti Superski" upgrade, of which grants you access to 1,200 km of piste and 450 lifts! In "Plan de Corones", you will have access to free Wi-Fi hotspots at various lift pass distributors. When choosing the "Dolomiti Superski" upgrade, you'll also have access to several other Wi-Fi hotspots at mountain stations and eateries throughout the varying ski areas.
