Ski area Civetta

With the lift pass Civetta, 80 kilometres of pistes and 23 lifts are available for you to use in the ski area of the same name. The slopes are located at an altitude of 1,000 to 2,100 m and, together with extensive snow-making facilities, offer sufficient reliability for snow. The 80 kilometres of pistes are made up of 30 km of blue slopes, 44 km of red slopes and 6 km of black slopes.

From Selva di Cadore the quickest way to the ski area is with the Pescul-Fertazza chair lift, located around 3.5 km away. At the ski area you will find mainly blue and red pistes, though the black slope No. 6 means that there is also a steeper run for the pros. A real highlight for experienced skiers is the black World Cup slope "Foppe" at the Crep de Pecol. It is 1.5 km long and ends in Pecol (1,388 m), a district of Zoldo Alto.

The "Central Park" snowpark is located underneath the mountain station of the Col dei Baldo lift and offers kickers and a boardcross route. Another snowpark is located at the Crep de Pecol, above Zoldo.

Altogether the slopes in the Civetta ski area are very beginner-friendly. With multiple ski schools in a large children's area, children can be introduced to skiing in a fun and playful way. The "Happy Park" is a kindergarten with a playground in the snow and is well loved by younger guests. Around 12 mountain restaurants and ski huts also ensure that winter sports fans stay warm and well-fed.

Upgrading to the Dolomiti Superski lift pass gives you the additional possibility of skiing on a total of 1,200 kilometres of pistes, spread throughout 12 ski areas (see: Ski Region).

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

Night skiing Selva di Cadore

The ski area of Civetta also has something to offer at night. From Tuesdays to Saturdays, a total of 5 km of pistes at the Crep de Pecol (1,764 m) near Zoldo are available. A blue, a red and also a black piste are all illuminated, meaning there is something for everyone in the evenings too. Additionally, the snow park is also located in the night-skiing area, meaning the fun there can continue on into the evening hours.

Après ski Selva di Cadore

In the ski area there are five huts that make for an inviting place to stop at midday for a sociable get-together. After the lifts close, après ski fans can celebrate in the umbrella bars. At the valley station in Zoldo-Pecol, you can find the classic après ski experience in the "Zoldo Dome", a beloved cocktail bar with a DJ and live music. In Selva di Cadore itself there is a little pizzeria and a small bar, in which you can enjoy a cosy end to the evening.

If you don't mind an hour-long drive, you should definitely visit the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park. There, various activities are on offer, such as winter hikes, snow shoe hikes or cross-country tours in the picturesque mountain landscape. If temperatures are low enough, the Alleghe Lake can be used for ice skating. Otherwise, ice skating is possible at the modern ice sports hall in Alleghe. The "Vittorino Cazzetta" museum in Selva di Cadore, with the 7,500-year-old "Mondeval Man" mummy is also worth a visit.

Snowpark: Central Park Selva di Cadore

The ski area of Civetta has two snowparks. The snowpark "Central Park" at the Col die Badia chair lift is the main attraction for freestylers. It is 210 m long and offers S-lines, M-lines and L-lines for beginners, advanced freestylers and pros. Five kickers of different heights, as well as 11 jib lines are available for the pros to use. Depending on the snow conditions, a half-pipe will also be formed. For the younger guests and freestyle-newcomers, there is the "Mini Central Park". In addition, a "Big Air Bag" is ready to help out with more air time and a safe landing.

At the Crep de Pecol near Zoldo there is also the "Snowpark Zoldo". With six obstacles, it is located directly at the "Cristelin" slope, where night skiing is possible five evenings a week.
