Ski area Gröden/Seiser Alm

With the Val Gardena lift pass, you have access to 176 kilometres of piste and 82 lifts between 1,236 m and 2,518 m in height. The altitude and most modern snow machines ensure snow is plentiful. Beginners will find easy pistes between Passo Sello and Piz Sella and especially in St. Ulrich and Wolkenstein. Experienced skiers will be more likely drawn to the world cup mountain Ciampinoi, which has diverse black runs. Boarders, on the other hand, will feel right at home in the three fun parks. For even more fun, you can upgrade your lift pass to the "Dolomiti Super lift pass"- for a terrific 1,200 km of piste and 448 lifts! With this pass you have access to the "Sella Ronda", the legendary circumnavigation of the Sella stocks

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

    For those who want to spend there holiday in Italy and want to experience a proper apres ski, are at the right place in Val Gardena. There are 35 lodges in total, which are there to rest in but to party in too! A varied programme is offered in the numerous bars such as the Luiskeller or the Saltos in Wolkenstein. In the bar Umbrella you should beware of the fire-eating barmaids! Besides the piste there is a broad spectrum of activities, such as, snow-shoe hiking, ice skating or tobogganing. With the lift pass you have free entrance to the swimming pools and ice-rinks. The resort offers its guests an attractive programme of culture, shows and events.
