Ski area Arosa-Lenzerheide

With the lift pass Arosa-Lenzerheide you will gain access to 225 km of pistes and 50 lifts in the largest connected ski area of Graubünden. Since the end of 2013 the ski areas Lenzerheide and Arosa are connected by the gondola Hörnli-Urdenfürggli - it crosses the Urdental valley, which was the only part of the area that kept them separated.

Arosa-Lenzerheide is situated at a high altitude of 1,229 - 2,865 m. Winter sport enthusiasts can enjoy guaranteed sunshine since the lifts are located on both, the eastern and western side of the valley. Beginners will find many blue pistes and in the children's area Auarara the little ones are entertained with a mini course and ski carousel. Nonetheless, the ski area also offers a lot of diversity for pros. The World Cup run "Silvano Beltrametti", named after a former Swiss ski racer, has an average decline of 31% and a maximum decline of 66% and makes the FIS racing track one of the most difficult runs in the world.

For speed junkies there is also the speed track Cumascheals with time tracking and the Pedra Grossa racing track. Moreover, you will find a Skimovie racing track with fully automated cameras giving you the chance to review your own run. Freeriders can look forward to several marked, unprepared ski routes on the western side of the area. On the Alp Stätz night owls can enjoy night skiing once per week on a 3.5 km floodlit run. Once a month, moonlit skiing takes place, where you can have an unforgettable skiing experience along a moonlit piste.

For the ones who prefer to explore the area at daytime there is the "Runda Lai". The track follows the cycle of the sun on the slopes from west to east and takes 4 to 5 hours to complete, depending on skill. Taking a break in one of the cosy ski huts is worthwhile, many of which offer free Wi-Fi. At the end of the day the valley runs lead directly down to Lenzerheide and Arosa.

The ski area Arosa-Lenzerheide is especially famous for its diverse piste network. Winter sport fans particularly enjoy the marvellously long runs of all difficulties with lots of space for advanced skiers and freeriders.

Après ski Lenzerheide

In Lenzerheide, the time after skiing is mainly spent with a broad selection of spa offers as well as gentle exercise. Lenzerheide sport centre offers various indoor activities, such as the H2Lai Water world, a fitness area and an ice rink. If you prefer to go ice skating and curling outside you will also find a natural ice field in Lenzerheide.

Classic tobogganing is possible on several natural toboggan runs in and around the resort. In the evening, the so called "Schlittelweg" starting at Scharmoin middle station is illuminated on its length of 3.8 km. The "Tgantieni" toboggan run has a length of 1.5 km and leads down to Val Sporz, and the "Lain" toboggan runs from Sporz to Lain on 2 km. In the neighbouring resort Churwalden, toboggan fans can look forward to sledding fun that is not dependant on snow: "Pradaschier" is one of the longest toboggan runs on rails in the world. The track leads through 31 curves and down to the valley on a length of 3.1 km .

Pedestrians can explore the most beautiful trails surrounding Lenzerheide on seven winter hiking paths, which can also be used for Nordic Walking. Four picturesque snow shoe trails can also be found. All trails are marked by highly visible pink signposts. Paying a visit to the Hamam or a good meal in the inns and hotel restaurants offering a diverse cuisine round off the evening.

Fans of classic après ski are recommended to pay a visit at Chilihütta-bar. Probably the longest bar in Lenzerheide caters self-made Schnapps in a cosy atmosphere! Further meeting points in the ski area are, e.g. the umbrella bar at Alp Stätz, Wanner Bar next to the world cup piste or Munggaloch. In resort, various discos and bars can be found.

Snowpark: Snowpark Lenzerheide

The Arosa-Lenzerheide ski area offers all kinds of diversity with three funparks and one funslope. Freestylers can look forward to Funpark Arosa, which offers an attractive setup with kickers, boxes, rails, jobs and a mini pipe. Funpark Lenzerheide also has a very thought-through design and several obstacles. Every Friday evening, jibbers can except the "Night session" in a special atmosphere. The funslop at Stätzertäli lift has place for up to four borders at the same time. It leads through fast curves, tunnels, and over small jumps. Wood Ranch Arosa is a natural, CO2 neutral Park with obstacles made of pure Arosa fir wood offering whole new freestyling possibilities.
