Ski area Torrent-Leukerbad
The ski area Torrent-Leukerbad offers around 47 km of prepared piste and 14 ski lifts at an altitude of 1,411 - 2,610 m. As a result of topographical occurrences and the high level of snow security, the area in the Walliser Alps is perfect for skiing. The valley runs to Leukerbad and Flaschen are particularly varied, as the width of the piste varies and many sections lead through spruce tree woodlands. The 11 km piste starting at the mountain station Schwalbennest, with an altitude difference of 1,199 m, is equally impressive. Here and also around the Torrentalp and the Rinderhütte the more ambitious skiers will get their money's worth and freeriders can also let off steam on 6 km of ski route. Freestylers can use the small, but excellent, snowpark at the Schwalbennest lift. The Snowpark Sportarena is particularly suitable for children, as special children's ski schools, day care, magic carpets and other practice lifts are offered here.
Après ski Leukerbad
After a day on the pistes the holiday resort Leukerbad offers various opportunities to let you enjoy the end of the day. Sport activities and wellness take naturally first place in this well known winter sport and thermal spa resort! In the Walliser Alpentherme you can benefit from relaxation and body care offers, or make use of medical spa treatments. In the Sportarena Leukerbad you can choose the perfect activity for you from a large selection of year-round offers. Along with climbing, ice skating and squash, you can test out the indoor football field or play billiards. If you would rather spend your evenings outdoors, you can use the 150 m long toboggan run and the new snow-tubing run in the Snowpark Sportarena, or explore nature on one of the winter hiking paths, totalling at 40 km in length.
Snowpark: Snowpark Schwalbennest Leukerbad
The beginner-friendly fun park is located directly at the Schwalbennest lift and offers various jumps, rails, boxes and other obstacles. The site is naturally prepared and is the optimal area for beginners and more advanced skiers to practice.
